A few useful answers

Before we begin

Can I purchase the website without Managed Website Care?

No. Website creation and Managed Website Care form one complete service. This ensures your website remains hosted, maintained, secure and supported after launch.

What content do I need to provide?

You provide your final text and suitable images. Professional includes help organising the content and light wording refinement; full copywriting can be quoted separately.

Can my website grow later?

Yes. Additional pages and functionality can be added as your practice develops and will be quoted according to the work required.

What is included in minor amendments?

Small changes to existing text or images are covered within the package's fair-use allowance. New pages, major rewrites and redesigns are separate projects.

I can highly recommend Mark Bate and his company YouCan Consulting if you are a therapist who wants a bespoke website as well as marketing advice. I found Mark incredibly helpful, attentive and patient as he guided me through the process of designing a website for my private practice. I ended up with all that I had hoped for, and more. Mark understands the challenges of psychological practice and the tension that professionals face in marketing their services while retaining an ethical stance. His warm and friendly nature made him a pleasure to deal with at all times.

Angela Gilchrist

Consultant Clinical Psychologist

"Thanks Mark for an excellent job. My website looks great! People have given me really good feedback saying it works well, looks good and is easy to navigate. You gave so generously of your time, and your expertise means I have been able to achieve more than I had originally hoped for."

Dr Alesia Moulton-Perkins

Chartered Psychologist

"Mark has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Patient, professional, approachable and he is very good at what he does. There were a few technical issues during the implementation process that would have left this technophobe's head spinning, but Mark was helpful and easily and simply explained the difficult. I love my new website. It is exactly what I had hoped for and wanted. I credit Mark's excellent work and creativity in being instrumental in helping me build my business through my internet presence. I highly recommend YouCan Consulting."

Elaina Curran

Hypnotherapist

Mark and the YouCan consulting team have been absolutely fantastic in helping developing our new therapy website, and at very reasonable costs. Mark's expertise in designing the site and his informed advice regarding its content has been invaluable. He has been incredibly patient throughout the process, despite multiple requests and re-edits, and he has worked hard to meet each and every one of our needs and preferences. I cannot recommend his services highly enough.

Dr Gabriel Brady

Better Therapy Partnership

"Mark has worked closely with me to really understand, clarify & create the branding, content and overall 'feel' for the various elements of my developing practice and has always proved to be insightful, efficient and very much focused on my needs. His ability to translate what is in one's mind into something tangible and effective is evident as is his balance of warmth & credibility. I look forward to working with him for many years to come and would certainly strongly recommend him as an important resource for anyone looking to move into, refresh or build a private practice."
